Fuel reset

Quick question. My gf's hyundai, dad's TL and Bro's tsx reset fuel economy displays autonatically when you fill your gas tank. It doesnt seem the G does it.

I can go to Fuel economy and reset it manually but is that the only way? I also noticed that if I reset the reading from the speedo cluster display it wont clear the one on the nav screen and viceversa. Am I doing something wrong here ?

Having two lets you do stuff short term like one tank of gas, or one stretch of road, while the other can be used for an overall, long-term MPG rating. Works for me.

The one thing I don't like on the long-term MPG monitor is it doesn't appear to Benchmark the point of reset - in other words, at which mileage setting did you reset the main MPG monitor. Am I missing something? The scale presented gives the various MPGs at different reset points - but doesn't show you over how many miles??

It doesn't. I use the MPG on the nav screen per tank. meaning I reset it every time I fill the tank, that way with the bar graph I can compare what I am getting in comparison with fill-ups. The one in the dash cluster I leave and it's a more accurate "long term" fuel economy reading.

^ I also use an app called A-Car on my droid that i type in every fill up - Fuel Grade, cost, which station, etc. - and it keeps very detailed records and graphs to tell you everything you want.
