IPL Sedan?

Hey everyone,

I have been thinking for awhile about this and I am pretty sure I will be going to purchase a G37 or M37 when I get home from Afghanistan, so I have been lurking the forums for a few days just kinda reading up on stuff.

I have a few questions that I just really havn't found the answer too. If you don't mind helpin me out or steering me in the right direction I would greatly appriciate it.

1. IPL G37 Sedan? Will it be made?
2. 2010 20th Aniv Sedan have any engine / performance upgrades or just visual?

If I were to buy the G it would defintally be the Aniv. Edition or if they were planning on producing an IPL that would be in the hat.

3. You 2 cents on the G37 vs M37, I have done alot of research between the 2, but it is always better to get some advice from the current owners.

Thanks so much.

Eric

They both are very good cars. Where is your home?

I don't know about the IPL sedan, that all depends on the mod of infiniti.
Aniv edition isn't worth it in my opinion, just get a S sedan and the aero package.
Personally i like both the M and G, but it all depends on your need for space, G is a more sporty drive, but the back seats is no where near spacious, i feel the back seat in a Golf has more space. M is more luxurious, and more comfortable, but if you plan on tuning your car, G will be the better choice.
So it all depends on your needs and wants

IPL sedan will happane, just do not know when, the IPL convertible will be first though. The anniversary sedan is all visual no performance upgrades. The M is a completely different car then the G so you cannot compare them. Also with a 10k price difference it just depends what your looking for.

Hopefully when they do the IPL sedan it will be a better example of a "performance-line" than the current IPL coupe, nothing more than just tuned exhaust for the most part. Pretty embarassing when compared to the BMW Ms or the Audi S or RS line.

Not sure where you are in MI, but I live in metro Detroit and I've purchased my last 2 G37 sedans from Pfieffer Infiniti in Grand Rapids. The internet salesguy is Craig Ressell, and he's been the best car salesman I've ever dealt with.

IPL really is a waste of $ IMO... you can get aftermarket parts for a lot LOT less that would have your non-IPL outperforming it.

Anniversary edition is just all about looks and bragging rights.

I'd say go with an S sedan/aero package/6MT... save up on engine mods and get a GTM supercharger someday down the road.

The current G Sedan is putting down similar numbers as the IPL coupe, so prety much any G Sedan mod would outperform an IPL
Maybe they'll go w/ a G56 IPL and just shut all of us up

It was never meant to compete against the BMW M line or Audi S or RS line.

IPL = fail
All the reviews have said it handles exactly like any other stock g37 coupe and has the same 0-60 times too. What was infiniti thinking smh
