Cool 2011 G37x Replacement fog light bulbs?

Gentlemen,

I will be getting a brand new 2011 G37x sedan this weekend. This is my first time ever owning an Infiniti. My past two car colors have been black (Cadillac CTS & Honda Accord) and I am sick of it! The swirls, all the imperfections, and its inability to stay clean really boils my blood!!!......I know it looks so damn sexy when it's clean but it rarely ever stays clean so it's time to move on....I am looking for a color that won't show scratches/imperfections/swirls as much as black and I am avoiding white like the plague, since too many of my friends have white cars...that doesnt leave me with many options....what do you think about Liquid Platinum?

Also, what's your take on nose masks/clear bras? Here in NYC people dont care about you or your car so when you park it and some guy tries to park behind you and his car is total crap he WILL hit you...plain and simple....looking to protect my investment as best as possible...I use a "Bumper Badger" for the rear bumper, it helps, but it's not full proof .

Also looking to change the ugly yellow colored fog lights...looking for a color that would be the closest match to the HID Xenons without getting real xenons...Any one ever change the fog lights out? If so what brand/color did you go with and why?

Also, for what it's worth ,probably going to put limo tints all around and 35% on the front window....should I slightly tint the tail lights, what do you guys think?

Thanks in advance for the feedback...if you guys have ahy suggestions or other comments for me please tell me

Thanks,

BK*

Yea I have black and regret it aside from the few days a year where it's sparkling and clean. I've never been a big fan of silver/gray since everyone has a car that color.. up in Canada anyway (due to winter?). I like the "taupe" color from Infiniti, but it can look a bit old fashion. The blue is really nice and different.

Get a bra done the day you get the car.. best investment you'll make on the car. Get the full hood covered with mirrors, front fender and back trunk lip.

Should I go with the bra infinti sells or is there another brand you can recomend? Also does the average auto place install it?

dont get the bra... it doesn't help when people bump your bumper parking in manhattan....

if you live on the street, i feel bad for your Infiniti..

a family member had this parked on his G coupe on the streets of brooklyn... it did it's job somewhat.
bumper badger does not help save you on the corners when people try to pull out and just scratch your car

Yeah BK is bad with people screwing up your car....thats why I want a color that really wont show the scratches ect...do you think Liquid Platinum would be good for that? I have a garage so I wont have to worry about leaving it over night on the street thankfully...any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Someone mentioned getting the blue, I'd avoid that too. I currently have the blue slate color, and although I love it, keeping it clean is as bad as having a black car.

Chk out "Smoky Quartz".I have that color and feel its awesome...Liquid Platinum is good, but there are many cars on road in tht color..i went for smoky quart with graphite leather and am very pleased with my choice....Blue Slate is good too, but suits well with lighter interior which would again be dirt prone easily..

Well I ran out of time...the dealership only had two 2011's left...one black on black the other liquid platinum on black...I chose the LP...in my neighborhood I dont see many G37's that are in LP...most of them are in black/white/slate blue...I am happy I went with this color. It shouldnt get as dirty as my black CTS got and the scratches def shouldnt stick out as much...once I put tints on her this car will really "pop out"....

Now...for these ugly yellow color fog lights...what bulbs will work in that housing? I basically would want a super white bulb to replace that cheesey underpowered yellow halogen bulb that's already in there...any ideas?
