Escalating an issue with Infiniti

Hi, Everyone.
I am 4 months into three year lease on a 2009 G37x sedan 7AT. I just took the car in for transmission problems. In the D position, the car rough shifts between 1, 2, 3 and 4th gears, it lurches forward and the engine revs when shifting. Manual shifting is impossible to use because shifting in either direction, seems it can't decide what gear to go into, there is long hesitation when downshifting forcing me to use the brakes. The transmission just plain sucks! The transmission in my '06 Passat was 100 times better than this!!!!!
They told me there is nothing they can do about the transmission in my car and yet they gave me a loaner car exactly like mine and the transmission shifts perfectly! Hmmmmm...
This is not acceptable to me and I want to take this to the next level. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing this?
Thanks!
Antonio

set up a face to face meeting with the GM of the dealership to give them the opportunity to handle it on a local level & keep Infiniti's direct involvement out of it...they "should" prefer it this way. If that doesn't work, find out who the GM reports to, and follow the chain of command upward until someone takes action. Either a new tranny or a new ride. Totally unacceptable. Question though...if they said there is nothing they can do to repair/address it, why are you rolling around in a loaner? Good luck with it.

They gave me the loaner for the day when I took it in for the transmission problem.
Thanks for the advice. I think I will start with the dealer and work my way up the ladder to Consumer Affairs.

Agreed. Maybe a call to corporate is in order. Note: if your transmission goes bad...you'll notice it for sure. Rough shifts are a difficult diagnosis...and it's hard to say whether or not your transmissions really on it's way out. Can you give us any other symptoms? Does it...slip? rev freely? try flooring it (at your own digression)...what happens?

edit: just reread your post. explain "engine revs when shifting". how high? is it a small slip, and is exclusive to one gear?
stupid infiniti...i've seen some of the technician in the back of my local dealer. i wouldn't trust them with doing an oil change i'll be finding an independent for my future maintenance intervals; sucks, cause i'm a total stifler when it comes to oem work.

freaking LEMON it if you can't get anywhere with corporate.

U know i feel the tranny in my 2010 G37 shifts pretty hard aswell. I had a 07 G35 that had issues when u hit the gas, even lightly, but my 2010 shifts smooth from 1st but it seems when im driving slowly, shifting thru 2 and 3 are really hard, and when i drive in Manuel mode, shifting down is even harder. I to took it to my dealer and asked a tech to drive it and he said it was fine, just plain said the tranny is ADAPTIVE and would follow my driving. I have a lead foot, and when i punch it, i dont have issues, its only when i drive slow. WTF?

When I dropped the loaner off and picked up my car the guy told me that they have no software updates and nothing issued from Infiniti so there is nothing they can do about the tranny. "The G37 is designed to drive like a sports car and that is how it's reacting. You're not driving a Lexus..." How's that for an explanation?!!! Maybe I should have bought a Lexus.

Somewhat similar issue with my 2010 but it gets rev-matching happy and clunky/bumpy when below 40mph. Took it in with 600 miles and the tech said no TSB issued for the 2010s but it was something he saw with the 09s before they were patched and now with some of the 2010s. Seems like we're SOL until they release a fix if any.
