Strange Noises Upsetting Me

I recently purchased a new 2009 G37S with the seven speed auto tranny. Recently, I have noticed a clicking sound coming from the rear section of the car when I shift from Drive to Reverse and from Reverse to Drive and am wondering if this is normal? Last night I started to notice it also happening when I come to a complete stop. It sounds like something is engaging but am concerned it may be something wrong since it just started occuring. The car only has 1800 miles on it. Anyone else encounter this?

Did you search the site? There's a thread about it in the TSB forum.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/tsb-tec...ear-axles.html

It's benign but the dealer can easily address it if you want.

I had the same problem -- read the tsb above -- axle splines need to be greased .. if it comes back again -- grease 'em again.
