Changes to the G37

Wow...I haven't been here/posted in a while. So I am sure that everyone has heard about the changes to the front and rear of the g37, but has anyone yet seen pictures of what it is supposedly suppose to look like?

If that's the case, I'm glad I got the 09. The biggest factor steering me away from the TL was the ugly front and rear.

You know, if you read any of the Acura reviews where they interviewed sales folks in the company (zone people) you could hear a lot of dismay about the design; I think that most of them thought it really stank. And I guess they were right as sales have really tanked. I see fewer new TLs than I do Pontiac G8s! Maybe Acura ought to provide a 5K rebate....

As time goes by, they will sell. You will see. The TL is a great car no matter how ugly it is... LOL

I remember what people were saying every time the maxima went through a redesign (except for the last one which is hot) and guess what? They sell more than enough of them.

I did see a pic once of an Acura dealership in Texas that removed the large top part of the silver grill and color matched it to the rest of the car. Wow, it made a world of difference!

I saw something very similar here in Virginia. It dramatically improved the appearance of the front end.

Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done about the back end, or the rest of the car for that matter. So it was just an ugly car with a semi-decent front end rather than a uniformly ugly car.
