Just started to hear three fast tapping (cluck cluck clcuk? click click click?) noises from the rear Muffler? Suspension? Bumper? area while coming to a full stop.

This happens when I press the brake little harder to stop. If I press the brake soft, it doesn’t make that sound any more.

My co-workers thinks it’s coming from the muffler but it doesn’t move when we shake it.

Anyone know whatda heck is going on with this car? Fix?

I just got off the phone with the dealer. They think its the stabilizer link?? needs lubed? Is that right?

 

oh wait a second...... i was talking about the coupes....sorry

best bet is for the dealer to check it and repair under warranty... and dont let them wash the car for you at the end.

 

You sure its not ABS? You say that you press the brake a little hard so its a possibility that its the ABS kicking in and you will hear a little sound, however it shouldn't be an obnoxious sound thou.

 

Could be axle splines -- may need to be re-lubed.
