It comes standard. In fact Infiniti's whole lineup comes with the Signature Analog Clock and the violet light standard.

 

does the light only come on at night.
day time driving there is no hue.

 

Comes on with the parking lights.

 

Have you ever driven your car at night? If you did, you would have noticed a light in the head board that puts out a faint violet light (when your lights are on), so you can see around the car at night.
