I expect to hear from the DTS again next week, when he will hopefully have more information about how we may obtain the countermeasure part. This specialist has been very responsive and forthcoming - I don't get the feeling that he's hiding the ball at all. I will post again if/when I hear from the DTS.
Please keep us posted...my noise was louder than ever on the drive home today.

CuthGood130 - how were you able to get a DTS involved? My dealer won't even acknowledge that there's a problem.

While my dealer did not acknowledge a problem either, I kept after them and eventually they suggested meeting with the DTS, who visits the dealer every month or so. During my first meeting with the DTS (which the service manager attended), the DTS acknowledged that Infiniti was aware of the ECM noise. He gave me his card and I've been e-mailing with him.

Some of the 370z guys are saying it's only the ECUs with serial numbers ending in "B" have the noise per their Nissan contacts. I'm assuming it will be the same for us. Apparently the ECUs ending in an "A" work fine - most likely models created for the 2010 models.

Interesting suggestion. I tried this, but it still made the same noise.

My dealer ordered the following countermeasure part for my G37 coupe: # 23710-1ND9C. I will post again once it arrives and has been installed, but you should ask your dealers about it. Hopefully this will be the solution.

So is the countermeasure supposedly a real fix? That would be awesome! Please keep us posted when you get the install.

That's hilarious. I don't think my SQEEEEEEEEL is being caused by the ipod wiring..I don't even use it the car anymore since it kills the ipod battery if I leave it in there overnight.
