Miles Per Gallon Feedback
I get about 20-21mpg. I was starting to think something was wrong until I saw some of these posts. I suppose I could get better MPG if I didnt floor it everytime there is no traffic on the highway.
After driving over 15000 miles in my 2012 G37, my mileage is still around 27mpg with about 90% freeway and 10% city driving. I do notice a substantial drop in mileage if you are idling in traffic. My mpg gauge went from 29 to 25 sitting in traffic for about 30 minutes so this car definitely likes to be driving on the freeway not city driving.
Update with my first long road trip from New Jersey to Florida.
1234 miles and used 48.745 gallons of 87 Octane regular for an over all 25.31 MPG.
Best tankful from Georgia to Florida 330 miles used 12.651 gallons for 26.08 MPG. Total round trip mileage 3204 and used 123.06 gallons of regular. Average MPG for the trip 26.03 MPG

I dropped some unsprung weight (wheels/tires) and went from 17-18 combined city/hwy to 20-21. I do have a heavy foot, so that is a factor.
Road trip to Vegas when brand new I got almost 25 mpg... and I was doing 80+ the whole way.

my 2008 G35xS averaged 15.7 mpg for the 4 years I owned it. Best tank ever was seeing 360 miles, averaged about 20 mpg on that tank on the highway.
2013 G37 6mt is getting 17.2 mpg, did one tank to 375 miles, about 22 mpg.
Manual and 6th gear helps, as does lower weight.

I have done quite a few manual calculations with my 2 G's and I found that the car computer calculates it about 1/2mpg (US) lower than what the manual calculation reveals. Not great news, but that's pretty close.
