To those who drive city ONLY. How much can you squeeze out of a full tank? I seem to be in the range of 190 miles. Is this normal? (2012 G37xS sedan)

Commute of 50/50 City/Highway, I've never cracked 20.
Usually around 18.5 at the end of each tank.

My commute is 100% city. I get between 340 to 370 miles per tank and fuel up when th light comes on. That's usually 21 mpg give or take. Good enough for me.

Jeez how are you people getting such good MPG's? I keep my RPMs below 2k at most times and can squeeze out barely 13.5 mpg.

^ if you are sitting idling in traffic your fuel economy will suffer. i assume you live in a heavily congested traffic area, stop-and-go driving.

my commute is 100% city, but i get "creative" with my routes in an effort to keep a steady pace. i usually take a longer route that avoids traffic congestion and idle time. you want to avoid idling and stop/go as much as possible.

Yeah it's very congested, being that I live in NYC.

Last commute tanks in Dallas traffic are both identical 23.7
Kind of an annoying mix of semi congested freeway and wide open tollway.

After driving over 15000 miles in my 2012 G37, my mileage is still around 27mpg with about 90% freeway and 10% city driving. I do notice a substantial drop in mileage if you are idling in traffic. My mpg gauge went from 29 to 25 sitting in traffic for about 30 minutes so this car definitely likes to be driving on the freeway not city driving.
