I have been averaging 19.7mpg while averaging slightly under 30mph. As you can tell I do mainly city driving for short distances. I am very content with the results so far. When I am on the highway it will obviously spike to around 26+. Can't complain at these numbers for a 330hp car.
Wow..26! I'm basically 90% highway and I get about 22mpg. Now that is with a bit of traffic..damn Northern Va!

The last time I drove my G, it was 90% highway on about a 45 mile trip and I averaged 26.5 mpg and that was at 65-70 mph and i have a 6mt so i'm right where epa estimated for highway lol. but i haven't driven my g in like 3 weeks lol

I got close to that averaging 80 or so. If I could keep the car around 60 mph on the highway, I truly believe it could get 28 mpg or better but I doubt that will happen.
How are people doing with automatic G's? With the 6 speed and a few long highway trips last week, I just got over 500 miles for the first time on one tank.
What is the listed EPA for the 6MT vs Auto? I would think you should be able to get better mileage with the 6MT since you can put it in 6 gear a lot sooner than using the auto but I never paid attention to whether there is a different MPG estimate between and auto and 6MT.

500 miles? really? thats amazing, how did you do it?
I was at 13.8 on computer after about 750 miles, now with 1750 I'm up to 14.8, same exact driving patterns all along. This is based on the overall mileage since I bought the car, I never cleared or reset the number on the computer by the spedometer. So it seems true that mileage is going to go up as we climb toward 10k miles, hopefully I continue to pick up 1 mpg per 1000, miles, at that rate I'll be up to 23.8 by 9750 miles, LOL, in my dreams!!
checking back in, I now have about 5500 miles on my G and I'm now up to 16.2 on the computer, it is amazing how my milelage has improved since break in 8 months ago. I drive in constant stop and go, very little highway driving, so I guess the 16.2 isn't to bad for my situation.

I have 1350 miles and am getting 17.5-18.5 mpg. This is with an occasional pedal-to-the-medal anti-Gore smile induced blasts. Hey, why buy this car if you are going to drive like anti-fossil fuel environmental wacko?
