Not very common but not uncommon either. The issue could be the door seal, the mirror support seal (the triangle), or the drain channel underneath the exterior A-pillar trim piece. Might want to read through this thread as it offers a ton of info on potential sources of water leaks at the door(s).

Some say you can replace the seals, others say you can adjust the door glass to seal tighter against the rubber. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In my case as my car is a 2008 I just replaced all of the seals and called it a day. Leaks solved.

Also have the same issue on mine when going through car wash. Not a "ton" of water coming in but still annoying. Dealership wouldn't cover it even when car was under warranty, I think it was $300-ish per side for new seals but never did it.

Been doing this on my 2014 Q60 for years, minimal though and only in certain car washes, I found a car wash that doesn't push water in there though.

Z-1 Motorsports sells a tweeter water seal kit. It comes with an adapter and a pint of the OEM ionized water to let you refill the tweeters once the seals are replaced. : )
Ok, couldnt resist,
But yeah - door seal.
