Engine Bay Beeping

I have a continuous beep from inside the engine bay next to the throttle body and anti theft relay. I disconnect the battery and it shuts off. I hooked the battery back up and the wipers and emergency signals came on along with the beeping. I unplugged the battery and plugged it back in with the same result. Need help asap. It's not the battery power. Car starts fine. Beeping will then stop and wipers and E-LIGHTS will continue. Any suggestions? I have video but can't upload. It's a 11 g37x coupe

While it is "beeping" is there anything on the gauge cluster display? For example, "Shift to Park?"

There's nothing. Complete dark. The car was turned off with the beeping going off. I thought it was an alarm nearby and it was my car the whole time. At one point the car would not even turn on

The only OEM "beep" I am familiar with is for the door lock/unlock/ trunk open "chirp" and the "Shift to Park" message. This one is new to me. For the time being you can disconnect the beeper "module." This thread will show the module.

All of these symptoms point to the BCM and a potential water leak issue. When you start the car do the wipers and flashers stop?

No when I start the car they both continue being on. I have no control over them the wiper lever and the emergency light buttons seem to not be working. They don't turn them off

Then there is a issue with the BCM. Check for water in/ near/ around the passenger-side footwell area. If all is dry then you'll have to get the BCM checked.

In the interim, you can disconnect the beeper and likely the wiper fuse.

The iKey Warning Buzzer ("beeper") is located under the hood near the driver-side headlamp. The thread I linked to in post #4 above will have pics of the module and its location.

The wiper fuse is located in the IPDM/er- this is the module that is located to the left of the battery mounted on the fender wall. Removing fuse #60, 30amp, "FR WIPER" should disconnect the power going to the wiper motor.

Good luck.
