I did this hunt about a year ago, and found everything that you did, as far as you have to order the whole trim piece to get the tiny clips. I visited body shops and never found a decent clip, and my local junkyards are a major PITA to deal with also. and I beleive the I ended up with one of the above GM clips and it did not work for me. The best solution I found and is still working to this day? I modified a generic plastic clip from the auto parts store with a dremel.
Wow! Thanks man! These work huh? JSPOWER WE GOT AN ANSWER!
yes, I thought I might have to modify it...but they fit right out of the bag[/QUOTE]
Unfortunately, after receiving them, I see that these clips only "work" on the most outer ones on that trunk liner piece. The clips don't snap on to the tabs near the center.
It's still better than nothing!
Metal tab works on red circle a lot better than blue circle. The metal upside down U piece in the middle makes it difficult to slide on to the tabs. The "inside" tabs that don't snap on because of that silly middle metal piece in between. You can see I scratched up the plastic part with the metal piece. The "outside" tabs that fit ok when forced on. You can see the plastic tab in the middle being scratched by the metal piece.
