Headlight restoration

Used autoglym's headlight restoration kit. Really impressed, the picture doesn't do it justice

Z1 cold air intake and power steering cooler installed. I like the z1 blue cones and with them being carb legal now I had to pull the trigger.

Thank you sir! Next is roll cage and harnesses before I get out there. Still hitting the canyons in the mean time. I ordered a very nice set of Takata harnesses. Just waiting on the roll cage fabrication to start.

oO You got a serious build coming i see!

Get out there and do some lapping days in the meantime anyhow, just to have some fun with that beast!

A stock G with an oil cooler can go do some laps, and you sir are well beyond that already lol

Busy day

Replaced drive belt, tensioner and three pulleys. Replaced both downstream O2 sensors.
Replaced stock HID headlight bulbs with 6000k bulbs. Driver’s stock bulb stopped working.

Was going to convert fog lights to HID but could not figure out how to get dustcover off without cutting stock wires. Even if I had, I was not sure how I would drill a hole large enough for the HID harness to pass through.

My belt had started screeching randomly. See pics of old tensioner. Explains why.

Car has 133,000 miles.

Priming

Mid Painting

Not perfect but good enough until i get the Ait CF cover, Im happy 😁
I've found that as long as the part you're painting isn't exposed to the elements and will never be handled then sanding and priming aren't necessary.

Bracing

Installed soul function chassis bracing. Installed half myself and had a shop install the other half. Thank you to member TheDevilsG for convincing me to buy. You’re right sir, big difference when used together.

yeah, the front fender ones were a pain and I should have had the shop install them but I was determined once I started getting fenders off the car.
