Wow I can't believe you went from a bmw 335 to an infiniti G. Seems like a HUGE downgrade to me.

Don't waste your money/time on anything else.
Here's a good comparo link

Thanks, need to remember this for next time I run across bastard bolts. I did see that even Liquid Wrench is better than PB, but that's all I had at the time.

And here's the Beluga Axle back, should be similar enough to the TopSpeed

Might be even cheaper on ebay
I have the Beluga, and I'm very pleased with it. Louder than stock without being too loud, much deeper tone .... and a hell of a lot lighter than the HEAVY stock muffler.

Are you asking why a muffler sounds quieter than no muffler?

Seriously? BMWs are very unreliable...they cost a ton, repairs are expensive, uglier interior, visually uglier than a G...
He upgraded for sure....to a G

I want to have a BMW in my garage at some point in my life but have held off for just those reasons. I'll lease one, I guess. After I get tired of the G and sell a couple of my cars, that is...

Better quality materials, way more aftermarket potential, better driving experience. Yes, repairs CAN be expensive, but you could have multiple thousand dollar repairs on the G too. The G is a great car for what it is, but from a car enthusiast perspective the 335 is a better car.

I owned a 2011 BMW M3...believe me you have to own one to realize that they are no big deal....I will admit life is about experiences so it is worth owning to realize that the hype train is B.S....until you do you will always think they are better. Japanese cars were discussed on the M3 forum as better built and more reliable all the time like the GTR, G37 and the 370z....seriously.

The main problem I had was the S65 engine had connecting rod bearing clearance issues and the engines were blowing up all over the place. The cost of the engine was 25k!! Not worth it ...I bailed and went elsewhere. The high revving engine was audibly amazing however...

The manzo is louder then stock but not louder than having no muffler at all. It also has a nice deeper tone to it....If you just want it loud with no regard to sound quality then just go with your original idea...

some BMW's are nice, but i dont think i'd ever own one, and not just for the reliability issues. mainly because you cant throw a rock without hitting one. too common. same reason i'd probably never own a Mustang or Camaro.
