The tails look like they have Grey tape on them. I heard that the rear was gonna pay homage to the G35 coupe, and these look like Q70 tails. I wonder what is hiding behind that tape.

Are those 20" rims? They look quite big. The brakes looks the same as the current Akebono BBK. The exhaust tips are drilled. That's about all I can see. Too bad no interior pics are taken.

I have a feeling you/we wont be able to find a used Twin Turbo Model for 40% off new price.

I hope I'm wrong though!

Nice spy shots filtering out. Keep in mind though that with test mules they often have body panels that are not exactly the same as the final production version on purpose, to keep the true final form of the car a secret. Ditto with wheels. But you can see the general shape of it, just not the lines. The camo works pretty well for that.

But I bet that we are seeing the production version head and tail lights.

I'd wait at least a year. Any new introduction, no matter what, has a few bugs that need to be ironed out. I'd wait on this one for a bit to see what issues arise in the first year or so to see if it is worth getting new or waiting for a slightly used one. But so far...I am liking what I am seeing

I agree. The front bumper looks exactly the same as the Q50..headlights too. You can tell the front bumper doesn't have the split V that flows from the Infiniti grill horizon legs like the concept has. Also the headlight housing doesn't look like it has that led feathering flare that incorporates the Amber turns but almost looks like a reflector housing in there along with the projector like the current G37. I'm sure it will have that led strip across the top though. I hate to sound so negative but being that some have been saying that basically the concept car was drawing cues from a finished production car seems like a stretch from the spy shots. I hope I'm wrong though! Just give me the concept front bumper and fender flare rockers, quilted stitched interior and integrated exhaust in the rear bumper and I'm good.

I was planning on buying the second year also, just because I want to be able to save up for a bigger down payments. Hoping that is there is a top of the line version with high horsepower, that it is released at the same time or close to the normal one, kind of how Mercedes did with the c coupe levels.

I am looking at 2nd year as well. That's probably when the IPL will be released.

If they do an IPL they need to make it worth the extra money. I don't think the other IPL's were worth the extra money over the S models. The new version should have a significant jump in HP over base or mid model...the wheels, exterior styling and interiors are probably a given. To me the $$$ is in the HP, and 15 extra wasn't worth it

If they did an IPL model and it had modest power gains like previous IPL's it would still be worth it IMO if it came with a really well balanced and performing suspension and brake upgrades. Not only would that improve handling but it would look amazing if it lowering the car. If they want to compete with the Germans they have to do something like that, because that's why the Germans keep on gaining in sales, they listen to their buyers.

a loaded up Q60 AWD Sport is over $50k.

im thinking a TT V6 is going to be over $60k, maybe pushing $70k.

at that price, i start looking at used 911 Turbos.

That completely undermines the demographics of the Q60. Infiniti has their sites set on BMW with this car, specifically the 4-Series. The 435i starts at $48k. I can't see Infiniti selling the TT V6 for more than $45-48k if they want to stay competitive. Even with decent options you're not going over $60k.

I agree here.

MSRP on a base Q50 with a V6 is $37,150. I presume when the 2.0T is released, that MSRP on the new base model is gonna be around $35,150.

The coupe has always been about $4,000 more. That puts the base price of the TT 3.0L V6 at approximately $42,000.

Add in a 6MT, which will most likely force additional packages to the car....Sport package and premium package included, and we're prolly looking at $50,000 even. This is RWD, not AWD. Add in an additional $1700 for the AWD model.
