Q60 Final Teaser - Revealed in Detroit
Agreed. I'm a black obsidian guy myself, and not a fan of the new rear window "kink" or the chrome trim that surrounds it and all the glass, so that has to go. Black window trim really helped the G37 coupe look a little more sporty, and if you pause the video when there is a side shot of the car, it has a very strong look of the previous model. This one is a little too "murdered" for me though. I'll be leaving the front and rear Mt. Fugi's, as well as the door handles (most likely, I'll see how it looks) chrome, and the rims stock, as I assume they'll be black chrome (although what rims exactly will be on the RS 400 seems to be up in the air at this point).
What makes you say this? I've plasti-dipped several vehicles and have never had an issue with peeling of any kind, and I'm in Maine with no garage so I brush off snow and ice all the time. Never effected the dipped areas.

pretty much this.
i would black dip the chrome window trim and grille.
would do emblems black chrome or just black out the front part and leave the chrome edges (did that on my G).
i hate black wheels (on any color car) and completely blacked out badges - its too "murdered out" for me.

Well having lived in S. Florida for well over a decade, I have first hand experience with "improvements" from dealers like the ones on the car in the video. But if you're ok paying a premium over MSRP for plasti dip and fake carbon wrap on a 50k plus car, well I can't help you there. Little too shade tree for my tastes.

Looks cheap. Like Honda Civic cheap. lol
Ask for the Dealership "upgrade". Rebadging a 2.0T to a 3.0T
Better stock up on some 3.0T badges and list them on ebay! They're gonna sell like hotcakes.
Btw maybe Ejoker can answer this, have you sold a new Q60 yet ? Because as far as I see there are no user blogs, reviews etc. All I am seeing is the local dealers trying to promote the car themselves so I guess they haven't had much luck yet.
i wouldnt call it riced out just yet, all they did was black everything out, which just seems excessive, not riced out yet. Not even the batmobile is that blacked out right? Lol
you need to have some contrast.
But the real question is why would the dealer modify the stock car before selling it?????? its not even their car, it hasnt even been sold, and they are already modifying it???? what is this pre-Aftermarket modifications now!?!

Sold 3 order outs or incoming units as we only had one base 3.0tt awd. We have a few people interested in the Red Sport but our Market is an SUV market. We sell probably 7 SUV/Crossovers to 1 sedan a month. It's crazy because infinits volume cars are the q50. Our Distract Manager always asks why we have a boat load of Qx80s and QX60s. Its a Mid West thing I guess.

You know, its grown on me and when I look at the Escalade, I think it looks better than the Cadi. I feel like there is too much going on but not enough to look different than the GMC and Chevy. Its weird.
lol damn really? i think working there and seeing it everyday it became an acquired taste for you. to me its retardedly bulky and headlights are not proportion to the body and shaped weird. then u got the gay vents...smh fx is still pretty solid tho
Maybe that but I worked at GM last. The vents are functional on the 80 at least.
