Are you accepting orders for RS?

 

Does anyone know if the Infiniti system will be upgradeable (via firmware/software) to support Android Auto / Apple Carplay?

 

Whats interesting is that I read somewhere that some Nissans now support Android Auto. I've seen nothing on Infiniti supporting it though

 

I believe Infiniti announced that they WILL support it next model year. So I'm hoping those that buy 2017 models will be able to upgrade.

 

Kinda. Mostly just taking deposits on what we know is being built and coming to us. We can order a car but it will be around 90 days to get it.

 

Yeah, if a car needs to grow on you, it just means it's not the best looking thing in the world. Like the Lexus F-Sport monster Grill.

When I first saw the G35 for example, I had to have it. It was damn sexy. Simple lines, clean, and classy.

The Q60 / Genesis - Mazda 6 hybrid is all over the place.

 

didnt someone say that mazda copied the infiniti concept cars in the first place??and didnt the genesis already copy the g37 design to begin with?? i wouldnt be surprised if they took some lines from the infiniti essence concept or q60 concept

The mica is brighter here than what was posted a while back. The solar Mica would look sick with the carbon fibre package.

 

They most likely went with the same designer. Companies hires outside designers all the time.

Eric Stoddard was an independent designer for Hyundai. Hyundai decided to hire him after the success of the Genesis.

I felt this way about Porsche as well with the Cayanne, which bared a very strong resemblance to the first generation fx.

 

Have you guys seen this Fast Intentions exhaust for the Q50 Red Sport? They show a gain of 14 HP and 34 torque over stock with the FI CAT back and down pipes installed together toward the end of the video with the car on a dyno.

 

This guy says 0-60 in 3.5 seconds in the Q50 Red Sport, I am assuming its the RWD since at 70MPH he eases on the throttle due to wheel spin and the RWD model doesnt have an LSD to prevent wheel. It could have possibly occurred at the start as well artificially increasing the 0-60 time. Nonetheless that's .5 seconds to being a 0-60 3 second car. Pretty impressive. According to him his only mod was changing the stock run flat tires.

 

Gill, cr@p! That was quick. If a stock Q50 will do 0-60 anywhere near 3.5 I'll forgive them for no Android Auto. :-)

 

Yea if this dudes run is anywhere near accurate that is very impressive

 

3.5? **** that's Lambo/911/Ferrari territory. That hard to believe on a 50k sedan built for the masses. Not even the M3s and C63s do that.
