Dashboard Melting and Sticky on 2008

Sticky dash solution?
Does anyone have had experince with the product below? It comes from Australia.

I wrote to them and they quickly responded that they did not have my color interior as convertible G37 were never sold in australia ( darker brown dash for a light beige interior) but that they have sourced a cluster cover and would get back to me. In their offering, there seems to be a Lexus color that is very similar.
In reading their web site, I feel the product is some kind of liquid plastic coating. Unsure it is so unique but I wonder if a clear liquid plastic coating could be found and used?
any idea?

Now that I've read through much of this thread & watched the video on the website, I think it's worth a try. I'd sure like to put my sticky dash behind me. There's too much glare! I can hardly drive anywhere, any time, without sunglasses. Maybe this product could help me...?
I'll let y'all know at some point.

2011 vert with 69,000 miles, always garaged and the dash over the passenger airbag is getting sticky and two vertical cracks on each side of the HVAC controls have formed.
I checked two local upholsterers an each quoted over $5k to cover it! The local dealership (Austin Infiniti) quoted $3,800 to replace the dash with new, but I think they were shooting high since they said the dash itself was $2k but their parts website looks well below that (and $1,800 labor).
I have been cleaning the dash with Chemical Guys Total Interior cleaner and tried leaving untreated, treating with 303, or treating with Optimum Leather Protectant Plus, but all seem to have the same results. It looks fine for about a week but once I get some time driving in the sun we get sticky again.
