08 G37s 5AT getting to 70k soon, bought it when it has 30k, haven't run into any BIG issue yet( hopefully never) I only change engine oil every 5k. Anything I should be aware of?

I love to see these high mileage posts. Having Honda's all my life I'm used to seeing 200K, 300K, or more miles on cars. It's good to see that Nissan has the same robust engines and drive trains. Confident that my 2008 GS coupe, at 72K, still has a lot of life left in it.

 

We're at approximately the same mileage on our '08's. The only issue I had was a problem with 5th gear synchro in my 6mt. Had a new tranny installed at 69.9k miles, under warranty, and now I'm good to go for a long time. You can search this forum and find other issues with the G, but as a whole, it seems as long as you change the engine oil, it's like owning a Maytag.

I have an 08 G37 Sport with 73k on it, in which it drives near perfectly

Runs great, handles great.


These about around a month old... so add about 1000 miles to it.

 

Looking good, even after all those miles.

 

As long as proper maintenance, G's will last over 300k.
