Freaking out help :( cars crazy
Lol Ahahahaha
For all future people who'd like to get a staggered g37x
YES YOU CAN DO IT
FRONT 245/35/20
REAR. 285/30/20
My alignment was off it's corrected and they did 4 laps around highway and then
Rechecked my alignment everything is perfect now
I showed the shop this forum, and they said the tire heights have to match mine is off by 0.1% not even a percentage value they said they've done many
Staggered AWD vehicles
Thank you everyone !!!
Blnwet you were right all along

Thanks man can't wait to finish fixing her up and posting pictures of all the hard work.
Just out of curiosity , whats the variance with my setup i believe 0.33 ?
As for the Alignment , the tech took about an hour he said the right hand toe was out and the center with something to do with the left hand calibration . he said Montreal roads are notorious for causing this kind of damage also guys the drive is so sports car like with this tire setup and so how can i say it precise it feels the road so well.
I'll see if i can get the proper alignment spec's from my shop and post them here

Didnt read the four pages but... if this is your first set of performance tires they tend to roll with the road alot more than a regular jiggly rubber.
If a proper alignment/balance doesnt fix it youre probably just experiening that new sensation.

Yup your right
but it's a lot of fun but ya my alignment was off
I'll be posting all the specs soon but now the car is driving much better
It kinda bothered me people said that you can't
Have a staggered setup on a g37x I mean the math
Says you can so why were some doubtful ...

Here's just a few~
~Improper tire rolling diameter
~Different mount on front & back rims (having a standard mount in front and a stretched mount in back that results in a different diameter variance)
~tolerances in tires that stack up to create a larger variance
~rear (or front) tires wearing faster than the other pair resulting in increased diameter variance.
So to have a safe staggered setup you need to start as close to zero variance as possible and keep an eye on accelerated wear (especially if your variance is around 1%). Keep your front and rear tires mounted the same (a 10" tire on an 8.5" rim and a 12" tire mounted on a 10.5" rim for example). Look at the "revs per mile" between your front and rear tires as they will differ from the diameter measurements somewhat. Tirerack is very good about posting these in their "specs" tab for most tires selected. This will give you a more accurate sizing baseline and is a good resource if you're in the 1% variance area.
Luckily Carfanatics' sizing is extremely low variance so the tolerances, revs per mile, and treadwear won't really matter much in his case.
Before you start accusing me of immaturity, show me the before and after alignment specs! You are being rude!!
Dialing in a whole bunch of toe in will help the car go straight with non traditional tires sizes. especially the rear.
I would know, I've done 3 to 5 thousand alignments in my past career.
I personally can't go by the rule that new tires brought out an alignment issue!!
I had Bridgestones that tramlined all over the road, alignment was perfect, went with Michelin PSS, and now straight as an arrow.

Sorry but that doesn't make any sense,
First off the car is behaving weird in all aspect not just when im turning it seems as if the wheels are working against each other.
Secondly Majority of the G37x Coupe have a staggered setup with the exact tire specs and there driving seems to be fine .
I think you should only comment when you know something about the subject
not just say oh you installed tires BINGO THAT'S GOTTA BE IT ....
All the math points too alignment needs to be done, which it will be done by a professional alignment race shop tomorrow.
All the mature members clearly explained why its alignment. After spending $3500 i wont be going to a non-staggered setup .
Thank You moderators for quickly explaining everything and justifying your conclusion unlike some individuals.
Again sorry if i'm being rude, but how would you like it if even after months of research and repeated asking on this forum in terms of whats tire :

Randomly someone would say ... oh go back to a non staggered setup ....COME ON !

I had mentioned a few times that even before mounting my new tires my alignment was off. Which explained a few things.
Also, yes you guys were right driving a staggered setup on my first set of high performance tire's is a driving experience, so it takes some getting use too, you feel the road a lot more the curves and angles .
So again i appreciated everyone's opinion on this community but just to clarify a staggered setup on the G37x coupe does in fact work AWESOME
with the this tire combo.
