Awesome car and project, please provide updates as you go along!

Those wheels look great as well, never heard of the brand but I dig the concave look. As far STS go, have you looked into the TWM ones by any chance? I've done my oodling of googling and all makes of STS has both their up and downs it seems.

That rasp is coming from having the Test Pipes, a week ago when it was just the exhaust it sounded great! Oh well I can deal with rasp for power lol.

All the parts will be available for order, with no engineering fees lol as I will have paid for those already! HAH! But do understand that the cost of labor to go into the engine and parts will cost about the same as the GTM/Stillen single supercharger/turbo kits, without the bigger gains that they give, so its a setup for Crazies or autocross/road courses.

According to the wheel shop I went to to buy them, they come from the same company that do Vossen's but they offer them in different sizes. The choice wasn't really the cost of Vossens but the fact I could buy these and not have to use spacers, cost wise they were only about 400 less than Vossen and once you're dropping that much on rims whats 400 dollars more right?

Nah haven't looked at TWM. My main concern with the STS is the bushings, with the mx-3 I was able to get Bronze Oil Bushings that really helped with smoother shifting faster shifting. I'll have to see if I can find some that will fit.

Excellent thread. Beautiful G.

Any idea of what your wheels weigh? Did you consider going lightweight w/ Volks or Enkeis or something instead?

Very much looking forward to all your progress.

Not exactly sure the weight, they are heavy though. As light weight wheels, I live in atlanta and have to drive metro a lot, and if you've ever been to this city its the land of pot holes and dips. I have spent so much money in the past replacing and repairing rims from road damaged, I'm not really a fan of buying the lighter rims though I do know they drastically help performance. But who knows in a few months my taste my change and get some nicer rims.

There's nothing like N/A power. I'am wondering how reliable the motor will be in comparison to the tt and sc kits. Also you thiking of going with ITB's???

If built properly it should be just as reliable as oem. I have always wanted to do ITB's on any of my other cars, but never have... It was never about the cost, just never actually did it. Who knows maybe this time.
