To buy a used 2011-12 G37 coupe this summer or not?
I am in the market looking to buy my first car and I want to get a G37 coupe AWD.
I see certified pre-owned 2011-12 G37 coupe AWD selling for $35K-42K. Do you think it's a good time to buy a used G37 coupe for that price range this summer?
I am concerned that Q50 coupe will come out soon after I buy the G37 coupe in the summer and I can get a newer re-designed model just paying little bit more extra If I wait. Will there be a big price difference between 2011-12 G37 and new Q50 coupe model? What do you guys think?

Infiniti Q60 Coupe Arriving by 2016: Exec Says | AutoGuide.com News
Q50 coupe will be Q60 actually
Per upper link it says the new gen coupe will be available in 2016, its a long way. You can get this now and exchange for new one in couple years. I personally have a 2009 G37S Coupe, but I wait to see the Q50 sedan, dont get me wrong I like my car but navigation needs a serious update/upgrade which looks like Q50 will have(2 screen split).
Plus first batch of new generation will reveal all problems so probably a 2nd year new gen will be better and improved. Depends how much you want it....

After Reading that link i'll wait till 2017 after the bugs are all out... time for another 3year lease!

honeslty 35-42k for a used. I would go for the sedan a new G will probably cost less than 42k since the Q is coming out instead but if you want the coupe that badly then it's your choice. I wanted to get a coupe before but I couldn't get over the fact that I need extra space sometimes... just my .2

If you are looking at used cars then the earliest you can buy the Q60 in used condition will be 2017. That's 4 years away so, I would get something today and then trade in when ready.
Good luck!
Good luck!

But, if you really want the new Q coupe in 2-3 yrs, I would probably get a '10 now (should still have 15-18 mos warranty). That will save you several thousand dollars and you're getting the same vehicle. Then trade it for the Q.

I waited over 28 years to go back to driving a car after years of hauling the kids around in lumbering SUV's. Buying my G was anything but impulsive; I wanted one from the first time I saw a 35 coupe. I don't even look at other cars now because I have exactly what I want.
If you feel strongly about the current model and don't get all bent about not having the latest, go for it. I did and I don't care what the Q looks like. Why the "Q" designation anyway? Probably the wussiest letter in the alphabet IMHO.
