Basic Mods
I'm sure this will be a boring post for all, but I'm excited to finally be getting some stuff done to my car!
So far it's the common basics that pretty much everyone has:
1. Black Grille. Plasti-dip for now. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the chrome trim or go all black. Figured plasti-dip was a good trial run, and I can get it painted when I want. After seeing my car with the chrome trim left on, I'm definitely satisfied with the look).
2. "INFINITI" emblem removal. It is an '08 that looks like it's had its emblems on since the start (a lot of dirt built up in the crevices), so if you look closely you can still see a faint outline. Hoping this will come out when I get it detailed.
3. OEM Rear Lip Spoiler. The ONLY thing I really didn't like about the g was that chrome rear lip. Really not a fan of chrome (hence the hesitation with the chrome trim on the grille). Realizing some chrome is okay for contrast with the Blue Slate, but that rear piece was just too much.
Next up: Tint and detailing. Been waiting for my spoiler first before tinting, so I'd have the 3rd brake light and could disconnect/tint over the brake light on the rear deck (anyone know if a 35, 30, or 20 is enough to cover a stone interior rear deck brake light?)
Also possibly to come: front lip, fog lights, intake.
And don't mind the photos -- I am by no means a photographer, and these were taken with my phone.

Looking good! I only have tints on mine
I think the grill looks better with the chrome on top and bottom, probably my next mod. The last two look like blue slate instead of athens blue, weeeirrrd
