HFC or Intake for first mod

Got a 2008 G37S coupe a couple months ago and not sure what would be a better first mod, Stillen Gen 3 Intake or FI RHFC. Keep in mind it would be months before i would get my next mod. Cat back is too expensive right now but i plan to get one down the line. Also plan to get Uprev tune after a couple mods. Open to any suggestions and advice.

Are you installing them?

HFC are much harder to install, but give you more sound and power than the intake.

Long tube intakes are fairly easy to install.

I'll be installing them. I think i'm going with the intake first just cause it's slightly cheaper and easier to install then go for the RHFCs. I'd like it to be louder but I also want to keep that stock note and don't want to spend a fortune on a catback. Not sure how the FI RHFCs will sound with the OEM exhaust. Only found videos with some exhaust mod with it and the one i did find the audio wasn't great. Maybe an axleback or resonator delete would sound nice paired with RHFCs?

Consider doing axle-back exhaust. Easy to swap out, much cheaper and eliminates the biggest air restriction (besides the stock cats) in the exhaust.

I'd agree with the exhaust mod first if you want an easier mod with the sound variation.

My first mod was HFC's, and I did them with a buddy. Huge pain in the butt. Lots of little cuts and bruises and a migraine, but worth it in the long run. To each his own, but if I had to do it again, exhaust would be first, then intake, then HFC's.

I did the sport exhaust axleback first. It went quickly took 30 mins or so. Hardest part was the rusty flange bolts. (A good torch is like torque in a bottle)

Next up is the intakes.

I'm quite happy with the exhaust note and volume. Not sure if I'll do HFCs. At least not for the sound.

First thing I am going to do is the axle-back. But between the two, I would def go HFC
