Elite Extended Warranty

Hello all,

I have a 2012 G37 sedan journey with about 55k miles on it. The factory warranty will be expired in 5k miles. I've been thinking about getting the Elite extended warranty. Anyway, here are my questions:

1) Would Infiniti dealer sell the warranty to me if I have mods on? (See my mod list below)

2) If they sell me the warranty knowing that I have mods, would they honor it down the road?

3) I know that one can call an Infiniti elsewhere online or over the phone to bypass an inspection or even claim that his car is stock to get the elite warranty. Would they still honor the warranty if they find out I have mods on my car when I bring it in for a claim?

4) Where would you recommend to get the Elite warranty? And how much did you pay for yours?

5) Could you please tell me your personal experience regarding this subject?

The mods I've had so far are: Swift lowering spings, 20" wheels and tires, Hotchkis sway bars, strut bar, and Akenono BBK. I'm waiting for my FI catback, so it'll be my next mod in the next couple weeks or months.
Down the road, I also want to get the FI RHFC, CAI, and then a tune, which will more likely happen after the factory warranty expiration date. I would go with coilovers next when the stock shocks need to be replaced.

I know there are a lot of threads that talk about this topic, but I couldn't fine clear answers for my questions above. So, please share!

Thank you!

Elite Extended Warranty

To start off I got the elite warranty about less than a month ago, it's best to get it before your runs out and it will be cheaper, I'm also lowered on swift springs and I passed the basic inspection, the inspection depends on mileage, I got 3 years and 48k miles when I was at 29k miles right before factory run out, 0 deductible for 950.00 out the door, Courtney from Scottsdale Infiniti has the best prices from what I heard, ask a for a quote on her website. I'm also local and she knows the service guy and I got the basic inspection waived and it was really quick

It depends on your circumstances.

Some guys like to do the DIY stuff in their garage. I'm one of those guys.
Some guys don't have time to mess with routine maintenance.

If your time and piece of mind are worth the money for the warranty, then go for it.

For someone like me who has access to tools and a shop, it's not worth it.

Yea I do oil change and stuff by myself. But what I'm worried about is engine- and tranny-related problems, which would cost a lot to fix.

It does sound reasonable, the higher the mileage the more the warranty cost, and I believe it's worth it

Seems like a good rate for the elite warranty. I'm gonna have to check it out. I currently have 42k miles on mine g37x right now and it expires in December.

I checked into this warranty. It seems that my car, now 96 months old, does not meet their 72 month maximum even though I have only 31k miles driven. I guess I just have to continue to depend on the build quality that has been good to me so far.
