I'm 5'6" and the belt has been bothering me more lately. I tried two different kinds of seatbelt clips and neither one would stay in place and required constant adjustment. I just found a free solution that works for me - so simple I dont know why I havent seen it mentioned here. I twisted the belt at the latch 3 times before I clip it in so the belt is slightly round instead of flat at my neck. It also makes the belt twisted at the waist but it doesnt bother me. It isnt a tight twist and is still flat where the belt slips through the holder by your shoulder. I dont feel it cutting my neck anymore. Seems safe since the belt still retracts the same. You just cant put too many twists in - you want the belt soft, not hard like a rope.
