My G37S

Hello I'm Jason well technically I've been lurking on here while I am a member on driver. Not really a new member but not really old either. Was a G35 owner and now I've made the change to this lovely G37S. Included pictures as to not get chewed out The mod bug has bit me already. I had issues with stock braking and it didn't cut it. Berk HFC and Ark exhaust which will be installed today. Crossed drilled and slotted rotors from StopTech and Hawks HFS pads.

Love the car but dislike having to wash it every few days. I can't stand watching it get dirtied. Significant other says I'm loving my car too much. I do have more fun driving this then I did in the G35. Plans next is new wheels for summer driving, FI because I'm also a Eclipse GSX owner and turbos are just that much more fun. Bigger brakes for even more stopping power and finally new front and back bumper plus sides. Not really liking the stock look.

Looks good man, welcome!

Picks of the DSM? Anything crazy? I know some boys build the **** out of those. But I'm not a FWD kinda person.

To hard to work on. 'Unless Turbo'd' of course.

Nice mods on the G!

GSX= all wheel drive. I agree, I came from an SRT-4 and I miss the turbo soo much. So easy to play with boost and air/fuel mixture and make easy power. but nice start on the G. Can't wait to see what you have planned for it.

And I agree washing it all the time sucks. I get shiet from the gf about liking the car more than her all the time. Oh well, she'll get use to it

Thanks for the welcome. The eclipse I have is awd. I've owned a fwd previously and didn't like it much. The car is currently dead. Blew the head of the motor. I am doing a rebuild I think on it or scrapping the car for parts and finding another one. Got hit during last winter when some snow plow plowed it. Didn't know until I dug the car out. Surprisingly dsm's are easy to work on. Sure I can throw pictures up of it being apart. I never even had a chance to take a picture of it before it got hit.

I was running on FP green, PTE 880cc injectors , greddy large intercooler, aem intake, aem fuel rail. There is more but I'm unable to list on top of my head at the moment. Ran about 25lbs boost before I blew the head. Was fine at 20 to 23lbs.

Welcome aboard! Nice G an mod list!

I am also an ex-DSMr back in the mid-late 90's (when 2G's were still being built!) to early 00's. I had two talons, a '92 and a '98. The 92 had a very old school set up with a BR 20G, 660's, old school AFC (the one with the *****!) HKS VPC, yada yada. Good daily driver that ran 12's on pump gas. The 98 was a bit more extreme. It had a FP 60-1, AEM EMS, 720's, crower 272 cams, BCE stage 3 head, and a ton of supporting mods. That one ran 11's whenever I didn't break the left rear axle or popped an intercooler pipe lol!

I miss those days. Build, tune, race, break. Rinse and repeat.
