Oil Change Notification?

Ok so my dad has a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee and when an oil change is required, a notification appears on the dashboard... Sorry if there's a thread already out there, but does the G37 tell us when an oil change is "required"? I know 3,750 miles is what my dealer told me, but I'm just curious... I'm at about 3,500 now, so probably in another 2 weeks I'm due... And also, I've had two screws in two tires, but a tire pressure notification never came up... I assume because no air was lost, but do tire pressure notifications come up as well? My dad's Jeep does both, and I'm good for running over screws about once a month... So it would be good to have a tire pressure notification

yes and yes. I advice you play with the dot matrix navigation buttons. You know the two buttons at the top right corner of your instrument cluster.

I hate the user interface of those f-ing buttons!
Much nicer to set the NAV screen to show maintenance intervals IMO.

Yes I rather use the info on the nav screen but the dot matrix notifications are easier to notice IMO. mine was set for 3k for oil and filter and 6k for tires. Took me a few tries to figure out the UI and cussed a few times but eventually I got the hang of it.
