Doing about 55-60, gettin on the on-ramp to I-110, heard one flap, and then hundreds of pieces coming out the back.
Gee37S - I agree, but you would think their own customer support wouldn't have told me that, what a waste of $!

the screws in the last picture look terrible.. is that what you were supposed to use? Also I remember someone mestioning something about 2 sided tape... in any case those turnbuckles wouldnt have solved anything, maybe delayed it

First off the turnbukles are according to them needed so it wont fly off. But I ve had the splitter on my G before and I've driven this car lets say in excess of 70MPH. At 70-90 MPH without the turnbuckles, the 3M double stick tape and those crappy little metal screws stillen gives you, it will rip right off!!!
A lot of us dont like the turnbuckless and the solution is about $10.00 bucks at HomeDepot, Lows or a local hrdware store. Buy about 10-16 stainless steels 3/4 inch to 1 inch screws with wide flat heads. That kept mine on at ecess speeds of 100MPH.
The screws you want to buy are not FLAT HEAD screws! You wantthe ones that are domed on the top of the screw head but are flat on the inside of the screw head so it mounts flush. Pic Here as example. :

Those were the supplied screws, they are crooked from where it ripped out, they informed me that since I did not install the turnbuckles, they will not warranty it??
I'm sorry you've experienced an issue, but the instructions do indicate installation of the turnbuckles, as that's how the part was designed.
I realize there are some on here that are using the splitter without the turnbuckles, but additional reinforcement from below needs to take place.
If you can PM me with your name and order details, as well as who you spoke with, I'd be happy to look into this, but the part is shown and ships with turnbuckles, and yes they are functional, as the splitter is subjected to air, and can provide (not like racecar setups) additional downforce.

It Just happened to my friend this past weekend. I was the one who installed it for him. I used stillen's supplied screws and doubled sided tape, I drill the holes on each corner that bolts right up to the last bolt on The bumper but that thing still managed to fly off. I would had thought it wouldn't go anywhere since it's bolted down and the worse is it'll just be loose if anything. Dam I was wrong and felt bad since I installed it for him. That turnbuckle won't do crap imo so it's BS whatever they're telling you
