This will be the summer of the G, my plan and your input

First off, im not going to save all the money i plan on spending on FI. I will be saving for it, but its not on the top of my list. The reason is my car is only a year old, and i want to let it age a bit more before i get a SC, preferbly when im almost out of warranty. Anyways here we go

This one is important: a tune. There is a local shop but they don't have experience tuning the vq. As a result I doubt I want to take it there. The best alternative is Osiris from uprev, anyone have experience with that?

1) Akebono BBK
I have a g37x and the stock brakes are SMALLER than the journey brakes. needless to say they are severely lacking

2) Stillen Headers
I know i know they give minimual gains, im more in it for the sound, and the satisfaction of having a full exhaust that goes from the block back.

3) 2011 Sport bumper
After the winter i got a bunch of chips in the non sport bumper, so im gonna replace is at 3m the **** out of it

4) Autokitsx side skirts
Non sport sideskirts are pretty lame looking

5)HKS camp 2

6) Light weight pulley
relatively cheap mod which i feel is worth it, dropping weight is always satisfying

7) Now, this is where i need some feedback
For approx. the same price i can get either: 2 Piece rotors, or some sparco R100 seats. The r100 seats save about 140 pounds of dead weight. While the 2 piece saves a top of 14 pounds of rotational weight. Which would be the best route?

Im also considering some XXR rims, since they are pretty good value for the price. I dont want to spend more than 2k on rims and tires, which would work out with XXR rims, but thats on the bac burner

if you're driving on the street, I'd keep the factory seats in just becaue of the side air bags, unless you're installing a roll cage.

its your car so I'd go enjoy it. do the brakes when your brakes are ready to finally get all the life out of them

I have to replace the brakes. They are severly lacking and if I was in an emergency situation, I would be screwed. Good input in yhe seats, I didn't know that. I'll hold out on those and get the rotors then.

honestly i woundnt recommend roll cage for a daily driver, i saw a thread on here about couple days ago, i think it was mikelr?? but he was riding in a roll caged car, and something happened i guess and hit his head on the roll cage and split open his forehead... i even saw the picture, did not look good. but definatley the akebono bbk and the 2011 sport bumper will be worth it! goodluck and have fun!

Scratch the seats for sure. Use the money for some more visual mods.

The reason i have seats on there is to drop some weight, we all know the g is a bit heavy. I dont really plan on getting a roll cage, maybe in 4-5 years when i have another car and strip the g and make it into a full on track beast. Right now its a DD and will be for a while.
