Tint

Anyone have any experience with GeoShield? It's a new film like Huper Optik but Tint King quoted me 280 instead of the 380 I paid for the Huper last time.

280 or 380...damn bro I can't imagine any film being that good... I paid 140 for my tints (any shade) with a lifetime warranty. They came out perfect and he uses good stuff, or so it seems... PM me if you want his info, he's up in Lawrence.

do you have a link or info on this stuff? I'm curious about it now.

Not trying to thread hijack, but how do they tint our windows if they go down every time you open the door? Wouldn't you have a gap at the bottom, or peel the new tint when you open the door? I know there is a way around this, I just don't know what it is.

I have 15% all around and as I was watching the guy while he was installing it, he didn't seem to have a tough time at all.

They don't tint just the visible surface area, it usually wraps below what you see.

Haven't heard of that tint brand though, I'd love to see what it looks like. But hey, I'm pretty damn satisfied with my Pinnacle Formula 1 tint for $260

I'm getting mine tinted next week. My installer said that with newer cars that have the window drop every time you open the doors, there is a switch that easily disables that function inside the door (he needed to call about the G37 since he has never worked on one yet).

It's only going to cost me $175 to do the sides and rear.

Google bc I'm not sure of the type but it's called gioshield, nano ceramic film which is really good at blocking the heat.
