noob here!
hey whatsup guys, I am new here and wanted to get some input from you guys on the forum. I have an 09 Altima that I need to get out of the lease. I want a G37 S Manual with navi. Now only being on this forum for a little while so far but I keep seeing the 08's have the most problems? I deff need a car that will last but I am sorta looking at used/certified G37's with under 30k. I would like a 10' but thats why I am coming to you guys.
My two questions are:
1) Which G37 S Manual would be the best year to look for in purchasing one with the least amount of problems with your experiences?
2) What is a good price for 08/09/10 G37 with miles under 30k around about?
Thanks I appreciate any help given and hope to own one real soon!

Welcome to the forum.
The 08 G37 does have some what of an issue because of it being the first model year. But most of the problems are pretty minor.
I would suggest getting into a 09 or 10. They are abit more costly though.
Try shop around at Autotrader.com and auto.yahoo.com for the best deal around.
EDIT:
checked around for you,
08 with 30k miles runs for about $25k
09 ... there isn't any at all with 30k miles lol
09 with 20k miles runs for $31k

I just dont want to buy like an 08' with under 30k and have a ton of problems with the car that I have to repair on it. Whats the most common things wrong with these cars? I am pretty decent at mechanical aspect but I am hering alot of interior and electrical problems with these cars. Is that true? Also I dont have a problem trying for a 09 or 10 either just trying to see my options here. Also I am sure there is a post on this but honestly how are the g37 sports in the snow? Just putting that one out there. Any help would be great. Thanks guys
in snow, any rear wheel drive cars, you won't be expecting too much. Front wheel drive cars are in advantage. Putting winter tires will help. If G is going to be your 2nd car, and you have choice of driving other cars in long winter monthes with frozen road in snow, don't need to force yourself to get RWD G37S

Ok so deff. going to look for 09+, but now a little more on the snow issue. This car is most likely going to be (98%) my daily car unless i get a beater but dont really want to do that. I really love the G37 S so I want to figure out a way how to drive this car through the winter. I do drive alot which is kind of a disadvantage to me, but any other info on how to boost these car for better traction in the snow besides snow tires?
Thanks
Thanks
btw I live in Long Island NY which gets a decent amount of snow, if anyone around here can relate to me with that around here locally with a RWD G37 S to help me out, I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I didn't want to give up a 6mt for 10 or so days a year. We have had some snow already this year and the G37 with snow tires handles better than my last FWD with all-seasons.

oh and were getting hit pretty hard now haha although i wasnt lowered last year, we'll see how that holds up now
I live on the island as well, i got my 09 X coupe last december, i drove it in every one of those storms we had last year 40 miles round trip to work and around town. we got hit pretty hard last year if you remember, besides me in my coupe, i was basically surrounded by suv's, no one else could move
