Cheaper way to program remote?

Anyone found a cheaper way to reprogram a remote?

Yell program into the remote and it will do it.


Just kidding. I think if you have the little strip with the key number then you can get it done from an electronic shop, but I don't know for sure.

Yah the key fob remote, also anyone know how to program the garage door opener If you dont have the actual garage door remote. I lost the garage door opener is there anyway it can be done?

Anyone with a CONSULT III can program the intelligent key. Problem is mostly Nissan / Infiniti dealers are the ones willing to shell out that much $$ for a CONSULT III.

To program the Home Link garage opened, just hit the sync button on your garage door motor and then hold the button you want to set it to on the mirror.

Actually, this is not true. You need Consult III and the security card. Anyone can buy the Consult III, but the security card will only be sold to dealerships.

The security card is only available to dealerships? It's not part of the full CONSULT III package (the one with the lap top)?

I've heard the dealers have to buy an add-on kit if they want to hook up a GTR.
