Will try out the 'special technique' tomorrow folks, and report back. That should answer the age old question of what really matters - the size of the nozzle or how you use it!

I had the same issue so I told the dealer and they said it was a "known issue". The dealer installed a new fuel filler neck and I haven't had the problem since.

I honestly don't how true this is but..I once was tolled, that air gets trapped like a vacuum sometimes in the fuel tank.
take that for what it's worth....just a "he said-she said".

I know in the past, there was a recall for the fuel filler neck in the G cars. I forget which years it was for but it isn't any of the newer generation. This happens to me on my '09 too. Even after the nozzle clicks telling me my tank's full, I can still get another $3-$5 worth of gas it depending on how cold I am, I'll stand out there and look periodically into my fuel filler neck and see where I'm at. My '04 G35 when I fill it right to the top of the filler neck, my gauge reads three quarters of a tank when I start it up. The G37 shows the gauge above the "F."
