I get this, too, but at different and odd times. Very annoying, so I just turn the music up to cover up the noise. Easy fix. Haha.

Just had the same thing in my 2012 M37 - after several items finally fixed - was driving me crazy in the winter and over bumps.

Dealer Replaced 2 parts and below are what was on the order -
1. COVER - COWL TOP RH - 66862 - 1PN0A
2. PROTECTOR - 66863 - 1PN0A

for the absolute easiest (and fairly cheap method), see my posts #8 and #108 in this thread:

https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...sh-noises.html

no need to remove wipers or the cowl (just loosen cowl plastic), or for "adhesive felt" or silicone. you just remove a few plastic bits under the hood, and press the J-strip trim in.

when finished:

no one wants to ship to Canada. Anyone want to sell me any extra they have or know what else i can use?
I removed the clips for the cowl but it didn't really lift the cowl since the wipers were still on. I used a flat head screw driver to lift the cowl just to see. Am i missing something? Mine is a M37.

Does the dealer fix this for free if you do not have warranty?

My dashboard is not cracking physically but its making that sound every time i hit the smallest bump. It's coming from the driver side next to windshield wipers.

It seems like that plastic piece rubs against the windshield glass and makes this weird noise?
