Dropped key fob between drivers seat + dead battery
Hi,
So my battery died, and while trying to start it i accidentally dropped the fob on the center/side of the drivers seat in the slit. I figure I should get the key out before I jump it but since the car seat won't move (no power) anyone have suggestions? Use a long stick?

I think it should start actually. Even if it didn't, use your spare key?

yes i do!
But i thought i better fish it out the dropped key first before i go jump start and later find out i cant get the key even after moving the seat.. because the battery will drain if i cant get the fob out.

Your battery died so you're going to have to jump start it anyways or even replace the battery. So do that first. Then keep the car running (battery won't drain). There's no way you won't be able to reach that key fob. Mine fell in the weirdest most places down there

damn man it is a btch to get things out of there. Also my battery is dying since I have the warning every time I start the car. Should probably switch to the spare. But yea, jump it then move the seat and you'll be able to get it.
My last car had french fries and other goodies in between the seats for years
