G37 with babies.

Just want to know how many of G37 coupe owners in this forum have 1 or 2 babies. I had to sell my 350Z when I had my son and thought G37 sedan or coupe might be a good choice for my next car. Just wondering if coupe offers enough room for baby seats (I have Britax). Thanks

search! Here I found one for you: https://www.myg37.com/forums/showthr...ght=child+seat Apparently it can work, but with children I would probably suggest the sedan.

I have my godson all the time and I put him back there without a problem. dont know the child seat used but it works, a pain to get them out sometimes but with the seat that slides forward automatically for you it makes it easier.

personal opinion, the sedans look more girly to me for a lack of a better word

I dont' know about rear facing, but front facing no problem. I have a Recaro baby seat - looks like a racing seat but soft . Great saftey and looks to boot. But I only pick my 21 month old every now and then and she is small, but the seat can go pretty far back without getting into her feet.

I have a 4 month old in a rear facing seat... no problem at all. Not as convenient as the wife's SUV but no problem.

Don't listen to anybody that says you need a sedan. Like you, I had to get rid of my '04 350Z for when my wife was pregnant with my son.

The seat slides up far enough to easily put in a car seat. I don't know what it will be like when he's 3-4 years old, but I don't care.

It's all cost benefit. Will I take 30 seconds to wrestle a kid into a tight backseat in order to drive the G? You bet.

BTW, the G is quick, but definitely more luxury than the Z. Believe it or not, as heavy as the Z is, it's light and nimble compared to the G.

Drive the sedan and coupe. Decide how much the ride of the coupe is worth to you. How long will you keep the car? Babies grow into children, and if you keep the car long enough, into adolescents. No way a passenger with legs can sit in the rear seat if your'e six feet or over.

I have been doing it for a long time. my little guy is 13 months now and is in a front facing car seat. The latch hooks make it a breeze to put the car seat in just latch on the hooks and tighten the belts and done. But the Murano is easier but no need to get a 4 dr the coupe does just fine.

I have a 3 year old and a 19 month old. One in a front facing and the other in a rear facing car seat. I have no problems and I take them to day care every week day. Not a hassle at all and all the desperate housewives at the daycare dig it lol!

I bus my 6 year old around in the G. It does fine. I don't know about a rear facing infant seat though.
