I have no clue how they did it as I have no experience with how the G37 headlights can be removed as I don't got mine yet. But those people got their way and stole them. I don't have my camera right now but when I do I will take some close up pictures to show you what I mean

trust me... thieves in NYC can make anything possible. They can get anything they want... and if its hard for them to get it, they will take part of it. My dad saw one of these guys braking into one of our neighbor's car at 4AM and he chased him about 2 blocks where the guy had sneakers on and my dad had working boots. Best thing to do is get a good alarm system OR get a sign that says "Thieves will be shot"... or something like that. It gets them scared... if that doesn't work... I would just camp my car for a couple of nights with a shotty.

People are morons. Once in high school, my friend came out to see a girl leaning on his car (not cute). She said "what's the big deal, it's not like I'm vandalizing it".

I really would go insane if I parked my car on the street in NYC.

that drives me CRAZY! if my friends do this to other people's cars i always say something..

i was at a pool hall with an all window front, looked outside and saw 2 girls (doesn't matter if they're cute, my car is my baby) leaning on my '03 BMW 330Ci with jeans (can we say metal buttons?). i turned on the alarm from inside, then ran outside and yelled at them like they were vandalizing the car.. worked pretty well, they still looked pretty surprised from the alarm... hehe

a month or so ago i heard a noise outside my house and ran out to find a few guys trying to rob mine and my fathers car (mine is the g37) (i posted the story on this forum actually) luckily for me these guys didn't or couldn't get into my car but they messed up my drivers side door trying to smash in the lock on the door handle. (apparently doing this will silence the alarm or something i was told)

otherwsie they go t nothing , sry to hear about what happened

now i keep the lights on at all hours and have installed a camera outside as well as have installed Ravelco in my car (look it up its great) , keep the club on and also annoyingly put on a locked cover over my car every night and finally i will be applying for a gun through my police department, but thne again if a theif really wants my car he will probably find a way to get through all my traps

A couple of year ago I had an interesting conversation with a former car theif and it really put car alarms in perspective. News flash people; they show up with a flat bed and your car will be on that within 3min. Garuenteed. If you've ever seen someone get towed you'll understand.
The second tier crooks are the ones i'm most concerned about, they'll do damage to get lights, wheels, broken windows etc and all because they usually aren't very well planned they generally don't get very far leaving you with the headache of deal with the insurance companies for repairs.

I don't know whats with people these days but they steal anything. I came out of work to get ready to go home and i see two guys trying to steal my license plate lights(White Leds) they left one hanging and they snap my other light plastic holder thingy or whatever. as im typing this right now the super glue is drying and hopefully that works if not then i would have to buy a new one. Luckily they didnt get it.
