So yeah...seems like too much horsepower can also deploy airbags, lol.

LOL!!! I just watched this and my fiance thought I was going nuts because I was rolling on the floor literally ROFL!

EDIT: She didn't think it was too funny b/c she was concerned about the guys face and if he was hurt. That made me laugh even more!!!! Now she's mad.

35mph into an suv that jammed on its brakes in front of me.

I'm thinking they did not deploy because the bumper was not really hit because my car went under the car in front.

I work at a Body Shop! Sorry to see your G like that! But we get alot of cars worse than yours and No Airbags deployed either! It all depends on how the car hit the other! Like yours, it's what we call a "High Hit" Basically everything above the frame was crumpled. thus no Airbag Deployment. If you had hit something that was more lower, or something hit the cars Front Frame Rails...then your Air Bags would have come out! Since most newer cars Air Bag Sensors are mounted low on the Front Frame rails! So that the reason why your Air Bags did not come out. Also I think they changed where they mount the Air Bag Sensors, because too many cars were being totalled from a Minor Hit. or a High Hit Like yours. Since Todays Air Bags are really Big $$$$! and todays Air Bags are smarter. Like if no one is in the Passenger Seat and you have a hard enougf hit, only yours would Deploy. not all, or not the passenger side. made to save Money on repairs, since Like I said Air Bags today are really Expensive! Hope this Helps you understand a little better why they did not Deploy!

I'm actually pretty glad they didn't because they were not needed and would have caused some cuts and burns..perhaps a broken nose? However, I was a little worried at first why they didn't and then I looked at the pic closer and realized how it hit.

also...its actually much worse than you can see in the pictures. the whole passenger side is all messed up! roof is bent and the panels are no longer lined up.
