Just like we should be searching old white ladies at the airport and not the young middle eastern men that are the statistical threat! The proof is in the statistics. All you have to do is look at the racial makeup of the jails and prisons to know where the statistical threat is.

 

Studies show that for the same crime, African-Americans typically get longer jail terms, so if you're Caucasian you get out of jail earlier for the same crime.

My initial post on this subject was not directed towards TS, but those who said stuff like people should be on the lookout for "2 black guys with 19" wheels on a Nissan" or something like that.

 

It is a misunderstanding. My post didn't refer to you but rather "others in the thread". If I meant you, I would've just said thread-starter. In your post, you didn't attach anything negative to their race, but a few of the posts in this thread have underlying racism.
