A Couple of Quickies
A Couple of Quickies
Still on Day 1 here, so forgive what may be stupid questions. I'm going through the manual right now (quickly) and can't find where these are addressed:
1. Is there a feature where you can program the doors to automatically lock at a certain low speed; i.e. 5 - 10 mph?
2. Can you set the outside mirrors to tilt down when reversing?
Both were features on my TL, and I can't mind mention of them in the manual.
Mucho thanks!

I don't believe there is an autolock feature. I defeated it in my wife's Odyssey because she couldn't stand having to always open the doors for everyone. No tilt mirror in reverse. That's what the back-up cam is for!!!!! This thing even guides you into your parking spot and shows you how far you are from objects which is cool. I had the tilt mirror on my Mercedes and it was nice to see the curb before impact.

The backup-cam can't see side curbs.
Here's a thought...Create all of the same settings for memory position #2 with the exception of the right mirror. Set that mirror to look down and when you press the #2 memory button the only thing that would change will be the mirror. Back up into the curb and suffer wheel damage
and then push the #1 memory button and things are back to normal(except for the curb rash, of course!)
We're gonna teach this G things that Infiniti never knew!!!
