Help, I've wet my vert - again!

I can't tell you how many times I've looked out my kitchen window on a rainy morning, only to see my vert's window completely down and my car's interior sopping wet.
What I believe happens is that I'm inadvertently pushing the window down button on my remote while the keys are in my pocket, possibly by leaning against a kitchen counter or something.
My question is, has this occurred to others on the forum, and is there a solution, ie, can the auto window down function be disabled? I try to hang up the keys but every once in a while I forget - usually on rainy days, lol!
Thanks!

In the 15 years or so that I owned this car I have never once had that happen. But, when I do carry the iKey it is on a lanyard around my neck- never in my pocket.

Anyhow, the dealership or a Nissan-specialty shop can easily turn that function OFF:

Setting it to OFF should take less than 15min. though most will probably charge you for one (1) hours worth of "labor" to hookup the laptop and click a toggle.

Thanks for the info. I bet a lanyard would have worked for me, but I don't like using them. Guess I'll pay a visit to the nearest Nissan or Infiniti dealership to get that function turned off.

So this never has never happened on my Q60 vert but I did happen on my 04 325 bmw convertible. I came out after a rainstorm to find my windows down and my door drink
holders filled with water.

Turns out rain would seep down the door and cause the unlock button to engage.

wonder if this is somewhat related to your Infiniti’s problem? Rain water shorting out the unlock switch causing it to open.

I think my experience was from the automatic window lowering feature on the key fob. I am guessing that I leaned against something and depressed the button while the fob was in my front pocket. Probably while washing dishes. I should consider it a bonus - get the dishes washed and the car interior at the same time.
I do plan to have the feature turned off so it doesn't happen again.
