So i disconnected the battery, upon reconnecting and ever since my window auto roll up feature is having issues. I've searched the forums for window reset and I have performed this a few times with no fix. What happens is the window rolls all the way down in auto, but when i roll it up in auto it gets to the top and rolls back down about 6 inches. If i auto roll again it will just keep going back down and the only way to roll it back up is to not use the auto function. Whats else is weird if i have the car in On position and do a window reset it will work correctly until i start the car. So i guess my question is there anything else I can try besides the roll window down for X amount of seconds then roll up for X amount of seconds? What could be the issue? Switch or the actual motor.

You need to do the window reprogram.

So is the window reprogram different than the window reset? I have tried the reset many times.

It's the same. Make sure you dont have something in window track and frame that's causing it to detect object to stop autorollup
