try "resetting" the flap in the trunk that needs to be "locked in" before you lower the roof by putting in position and taking it out of position a few times. If that doesnt fix it, lower & then raise the roof and the beeping sound should be gone. Dont ask me why the car does this but mine did the same thing a couple of weeks ago when I exercised it after a few weeks of winter hibernation.
Good luck!

I had this strange beeping noise and it's due to the top not being closed 100%. go through the cycle of opening and closing the roof and you should be good. Just make sure you keep your finger on the close button for a second or 2 after is says it's closed.

I had this happen to me after I need to jump my battery. It's the convertible roof and it needs to be reset by the dealership.

I just had this happen to my vert after I had to jump the car. No warning lights showed in the dash board. I opened & closed both doors to no avail, but when i opened and closed the trunk that strange beeping stopped. I'll be replacing the battery tomorrow is there anything I have to reset?

No. It'll go away once you cycle the roof.
