Sports Muffler Installed on to Convertible

Hey all. Well I installed the sports muffler on the vert and it fits with no problems. It was easy and only took 45 mins to do. All you need is the muffler and 2 new gaskets. The main reason for replacing the muffler is cause the old one was rusting and was looking horrible because you could see it. Here is a comparison of the stock sports muffler to the sports accessory muffler. Bought axel back from another forum member Seraphix. Thank you! EDIT my stock muffler only saw one winter in chicago. I'll post pictures of it on the car later tonight

Does it sound any different?

My car is barely 4 months old and lots of rust spots on the exhaust.

It does sound different. It sounds a lot better (throatier) But its not too loud to be abnoxious. I didnt want to get too loud because with the top down i could hear the stock exhaust already. When I hammer on the car you can really hear it. Just will have to have another chicago meet and let you listen to it.

^^^Holigan!!!

Sounds good! Will a simple muffler like that bolt up to the sedan, or mounting points differ? If I can get away with just a muffler replacement to get a bit more noise, that'll suit me just fine.

They don't make that for the sedan.

I'm a big fan of the sports muffler. More sexy when you step on it, stock sexy when you don't

That is definately different from what is on an IPL. I like the sound of the sport exhaust. Nice!
