Da Mayor is an InfinitiEV Insider!

I'd like to start by for those who have known me for years I've been on the boards here thank you for being an Infiniti fan!

I have the honor to be one of the selected InfinitiEV Insiders to get first info on the upcoming InfinitiEV....

It all started with a few days this week to explore NY (even though I live in NY it was still a few days away from home).

I have been a big performance guy but now with my busier work schedule at the dealership but having only a 3 mile drive to work I understand the choice of having an EV car as a daily driver.

For starters, it definitely will not fit everyone's lifestyle. For me, I drive only 5 minutes a day I would love never to worry about the cost of gas going up, oil changes, tune ups, etc....

also had the honor to have dinner with Ben Poore, meet the one and only Mr. Carlos Ghosn and sit with him to talk, and the designers from Infiniti -Shiro Nakamura, Darrell Ida & Chikuya Takada!

So here's the link to everyone follow the upcoming info on it: The Infiniti EV Insider

I have been looking into the Leafs a bit but I wasn't impressed with the price tag. The EV being and Infiniti is propbaly going to be a lot more. Do you know an aprox price range on these yet?

The Hyundai and Kia are stylish, but I fail to compare that to the LE concept. They look different. The wave on the LE flows very smoothly. The only thing I don't like is the grille.

Remember you get a tax credit on the Nissan Leafs... you can't just look at a price tag for an EV... also remember you'll be saving on gas (i spend $200 a week on gas currently), no more oil change, no more belts to replace.etc....

I learned a lot this week about why the EV will work in our lifestyle. It may not work for all though but for most, it's a great alternative. It's not going to replace my project car, but it's meant to be looked at as a daily driver.

Kenny I hope you become a major consultant for Infiniti design, would be a great outlet for customer feedback. I drive 20 miles to work and back everyday near Google and Microsoft in Mountain View, Ca. You would not believe the amount of Prius, leafs, hybrids and volts. This would be a great commuter car. if they can get the range to be 150+ miles and charge in a relatively short time this will be an absolute winner

Open Dialogue: A Conversation With Nissan Global CEO Carlos Ghosn | Lost In A Supermarket

This is a great article from Nicholas Stecher, another InfinitiEV Insider who wrote up our honorable interview with the one and only Mr. Carlos Ghosn.
