I think we should just get our money back on these stupid intakes. They make us wait for months to develop their rain shield and now that they are complete they make us pay for them because its an OPTION??? Really? WTF? If they knew they were going to charge extra for the piece of plastic or tin then they should have shipped out all the orders that they received prior to there decision.

@Takeda - I hope you guys read this because it is completely BULL-F%$#ING-**** you are doing with this intake. Make us wait for months so you can design your damn shield because WE the consumer suggested it and now you want to charge us for it after so many people pre-ordered your intake. No wonder the most people wouldn't even consider you guys when it comes to performance.

I understand your frustration. I would give you your money back but i don't think you ordered from me

I can't verify anything on how the cover is being made, it looks like from the drawing that it will be metal and will be attached to both sides of the filter. If it is made out of plastic, injection molding and tooling is actually quite expensive. The small piece can most likely run anywhere from $10-15k just for the mold.

I'm not taking sides but i understand both parties.

That being said, it still cheaper than the competitors prices for G37 cold air intake and one thing i know, the engineers at TAKEDA won't quit until they can get the most HP for the buck on anything they design

I'm sure once the sheilds are done, this cold air intake will be one of the best one's for the G37

Are these already in w/o the shields?
Do you think the shields will be in by May 26th? I might pick these up on my way back to San Diego if so, or even if the shields aren't in.
